I just love this set I made with this cute "atom" card.
A pretty get well card/set:
I have been drooling over stationery sets with petal envelopes. Now I can make my own!
These cards remind me of tuxedos, they would be great if they were personalized for a wedding!
This combo of purple flower print liners and craft paper is so pretty to me.
This adorable set has note cards that are really nests with a matching egg:
This creamy ivory paper looks so pretty against the scallop lining.
You might remember these cards from my previous post, here they are all finished.
A black and white set with pearlescent lattice cards:
And finally, a black and white set with different die cut tags:

These are so cute! My sil finally shipped here on Friday and I've been having WAY too much fun with it!
ReplyDeleteI have a question that maybe you can help me with since you use illustrator as well... When I design a shape using brushes , only the original brush stroke will cut out, not the brush design (a fern like brush)... i think it's because craftROBO only cuts out anchor points and not the outline of the actual shape.. is there anything i can do to cut out the entire design?? i hope my question makes sense...
Anyway, keep up the awesome work!
Hi Abby! Thanks so much for looking!
ReplyDeleteYour question totally makes sense- you're right, Robocraft can only recognize points from AI (except you don't have to outline fonts). I would try making your shape with your brush and then outlining your stroke by going to Object>Path>Outline stroke. That should make all the ferns have points. If that doesn't work I would also try Object>Expand or Object>Expand Appearance.
Sometimes brushes and symbols in Illy can be a little stubborn and not want to cooperate. If those tricks don't work let me know! If worse comes to worse I could always make a post with some fern shapes, I have a bunch. :)
You are my HERO! Thanks for your help!
ReplyDeleteSophie,
ReplyDeleteI love your designs.... Do you think you can list the silhouette design numbers you used for each of these projects.
Thanks
