Everything happens so much

I know its been a few years, and where do I start?? So much has happened that I couldn't keep up with blogging it all!
First of all, I got engaged!!
isn't he cute?   :)

here we are in Hawaii where he proposed. I am such a lucky girl!

We made it official on Christmas day, but we are still planning on having a "big" wedding next year when he gets out of the military.

Last year I was lucky enough to win the "Advertising Person of the Year" award from the New Orleans Ad club!

Just decorating my space with a murderous unicorn, no big deal

I also won some Tellys for a few commercials I made!

These are the commercials that won, if you want to watch them (you know you do!)

I've also been teaching an intro to After effects class at NOVAC in New Orleans. If you're local, want to learn motion design and are a computer nerd, sign up and come say hi!

What else?!? My friend got married in 2012 and I designed her invitation suite for her. They came out beautifully!
We printed the save the dates on hankies-

and we made 2 separate invites; one for her Sangeet and another for the wedding reception.
Here is a post about it!

Another friend of mine had a baby! So I designed her baby shower invites for her and I just love how the came out-

And finally I have encountered my new Everest- my wedding invitations! I am going to make them myself and the process is daunting. I already created our engagement party invites and here's how they turned out-

I used my Gocco machine to print with bronze ink

and my silhouette machine to die cut all the cards. Then I hand painted all the edges red and hand made all the envelopes. This sticker machine thingy is amazing for stuff like this!
here is a post about that too!
Since we are getting married in New Orleans I am going with magnolias as our main theme flower, and our colors will be black, gold, and red (gotta have some saints colors in there!

Last but definitely not least, we have a new addition to the puppy family. Presenting Princess Little Foot:
Here she is chilling with her bro.
That's all I can think of for now! I promise I'll try to update more often from now on :)

Here are the invites I created for my friend's wedding.

We printed the save the dates on hankies and folded them into a petal enclosure.

Here are the invitations that I hand made for our party!

All laid out to dry!

I used my leftover screen and ink to print up some napkins! I will definitely be doing this for the wedding too, they came out great.

I used the Silhouette to make some decorative cut outs of our names.

Here are some pics from the party!

Cookies my sister made! :)

New envelope sets, die cut liners

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long, I've got a lot of stuff in the works. Here are some new envelope designs, some of which are available in my Silhouette store!

And for no reason at all, here is a photo of Brownie Bite luring me away from my work. I have got 2 pieces of furniture that I'm re-finishing, a new motion freelance project, and some necklaces to blog about too, so stay tuned!

Even more Silhouette things

Whew! Exhausted from all the Silhouette-ing, so I won't type too much. Here's more stuff I made!
This mini Petal set is so adorable- I want to make it in so many paper combos.

Here is a pop-up card I made for my uncle that I modified from the Silhouette store. I used the pen to sketch the personalized liner for the envelope:

using one of my many leftover "flags" to seal the envelope,

... and used the pen to address it, before cutting it all out. So pretty!

Here are some cute labels I made:

My signature tag pocket.

And finally, here are some of my other sets, all packaged up and ready to go to their "forever" homes.

I'm tired! I need to turn my brain off and stop thinking of ideas.
